Get ready for Edmonton’s most epic science showdown. Do you have what it takes?
Welcome to Science Slam, where scientists, researchers, students, and nerds battle to communicate science. Competitors have five minutes to present on any science topic and are judged based on communication skills, audience engagement, and scientific accuracy.
Are you a scientist with a passion for science communication? Whether it’s your own research or just an aching curiosity, this is your chance to share it with a live audience. You can rap, do an interpretative dance, a skit, a song – whatever! No slideshows are allowed, but props and creative presentation styles are encouraged.
Don’t want to present? Come be a part of the fun, learn about science in a creative way, and check out the competition.

TWOSE’s Science Slam will take place on October 24, 2018 at 7 pm at The Billiard Club on Whyte Ave (Second Floor – 10505 82 Ave NW). Must be 18+.
Tickets $10 (advance), $15 (at the door).
