We are excited to announce our venue for our 6th annual 24-hour gaming marathon: Qualico has generously donated their space in Epcor Tower, the tallest building in Edmonton!
To get ready for Game Day:
– Join our team at extra-life.org/team/extralifeedmonton
– Start fundraising for the Stollery Children’s Hospital. There will be a minimum amount fundraised under your own Extra Life profile in order to secure your ticket.
– Follow us on social media and watch this space: we will give you a heads up about when tickets will be available.
Wondering what to expect?:
– An amazing hang out (think giant LAN party!) with gamers like you in a massive event with 200+ participants
– Games, prizes, shenanigans, incentives, and more
– Excellent internet speeds for great gaming and streaming
– Surround windows with amazing views of the downtown skyline
– We provide tables and chairs, already set up. We will provide access to internet (hardwired), WiFi, and power
– Bring yourself, your gaming equipment (anything like TVs, consoles, computer, etc.; no TVs over 40 inches; you must have a surge protected powerbar), and your spirit!
– You’ll be expected to set up and tear down your own equipment
– Feeling good about helping sick and injured kids by raising money for the Stollery Children’s Hospital!
Gamers from other Extra Life teams can attend as long as you are raising money for the Stollery. However, we encourage you to join our team as that helps us assess the impact of our event and attract supporters to help keep our event going.
