Animethon 24 is here in two days and I still have no idea where I’m going to start. The schedule above is just for Friday… There’s a hundreds of different things going on (so much more than just Anime, though there’s plenty of that too!). Find the schedule here.

Free-Play Console Gaming

Location: 7-142/7-185
The Free-Play area is a great place to hang out and meet fellow gamers in a more relaxed atmosphere. This area will feature gaming classics to Japanese imports. A little bit of everything gaming that caters to all!

Extra Life Edmonton

Location: 7-146/7-187 (Tournament Gaming Room)

Extra Life Edmonton is so proud to be a part of Animethon again this year.  We are a children’s charity organization that unites Edmonton’s diverse communities on a quest to save the lives of kids at the Stollery Children’s Hospital.  We collaborate with local partners and sponsors, like Animethon, to host a number of events.

Come find Extra Life Edmonton in the Tournament Gaming space where we’ll have some games on hand, our famous Stollery Charity-Cade donated by Retro Active Arcade and some folks to chat with so you can learn more about how you can save lives through gaming.

Edmonton Smash Bros Community

This year the Edmonton Smash Bros Community will be assisting with our Smash Bros competitive tournament Saturday 12pm-7pm! Come check out their panel “Intro to Competitive Smash Bros” Friday 4:30pm-5:30pm in room 7-138 as well as right before the start of Smash Bros tournament Saturday 11am-12pm tournament gaming room.

Table Top Café Gaming

Table Top Café provides a wonderful place to play hundreds of different board games for both the casual and competitive gamer. We will be bringing a selection of the hottest games to Animethon which we can quickly teach you how to play! Groups of all sizes are welcome – just grab a few friends and walk on in. Hanabi, Pandemic, Settlers of Catan, Takenoko, King of Tokyo, and Boss Monster are just a few examples of our wide selection.

Outside of Animethon, Table Top Café is located at 5716 75 Street NW, Edmonton. Plus check out our new Downtown Edmonton location at 10235 124 st NW and south side at 5716 75 st NW!

Adventurers Guild Card Gaming

Location: 7-286/7-284
Hosted by The Adventurers Guild. Come join us to learn or play your favourite card games such as Yu-Gi-Oh, Weiss Schwarz, Cardfight, Magic The Gathering, and much more! Outside of Animethon, the Adventurers Guild store is located at 15211 Stony Plain Road Northwest, Edmonton. Magic drafts will be hosted on demand with enough participants (minimum of 8 players).

EPL Artemis

Location: 7-278
EPL will be providing an experience out of this world by presenting Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator. Boldly go where no one has gone before as you trek through the stars in the Artemis Spaceship Bridge Simulator, a cooperative multiplayer video game that lets players experience the thrill of controlling an interstellar vessel. Join a crew and help pilot your vessel through your neighbourhood galaxy quadrant!

Game Streaming Room

This is where you can come sit down and enjoy our twitch stream broadcasting our console gaming tournaments! Come check out live our Project Diva competition finals Friday 8pm-9pm and our Smash Bros WiiU 1vs1 tournament Saturday 12pm-7pm.
