**Updated** I waited until the last minute to post about Free RPG Day on purpose this year… For some reason, the website never lists every store participating until a week or two before-hand. You can see the official list here (Warp 2 is listed but has handed off their supply to Warp One, so watch where you go).
There’s only three stores participating this year and two haven’t posted anything on Social Media yet.
–Warp One is making an event out of it and is hosting demos from 10am- 7pm.
“Schedule a demo game for Free RPG Day, June 17 2017! We’ll be open from 10-7 and doing demos all day. Submit your system, adventure title, time slot, and a brief summary of the game/adventure, either to this FB page or warponeedmonton@gmail.com. We’re especially interested in kid- and newbie-friendly games. Show off your moves, gain XP, and promote the hobby!”

Saturday is Free RPG Day! Come down to the store and grab some RPG loot, learn about Role Playing, or participate in one of the one-shot campaigns being run that day.

Introduction to FFG’s Star Wars Roleplaying
Are you interested in learning how to play FFG’s Star Wars Role Playing? On June 17th, at 1 pm, I will be running an Age of Rebellion adventure for Free RPG Day.
The event will naturally take place at Apt to Game, where Jason has been gracious enough to host the event. The session should run about four hours (but depending on how things go, it may finish earlier or later) and there is enough room for six players to join in. I will provide everything that you need to play, all you need to do is sign up below.

On Table 2, Brent will be running a one-shot of Kobolds Ate My Baby! In Kobolds Ate My Baby! you are a kobold! For kobolds in the service of King Torg (All Hail King Torg!) your life will undoubtedly be silly, brutal,and short. But if you’re really lucky, you may survive long enough to bring back a tasty baby to the goblin caves and avoid becoming lunch yourselves! Space for up to 8 victims…er, players.
