It’s a relatively quiet weekend for major nerdy events & activities (outside of your regular local gaming store’s weekly events). Not really a surprise with the holiday I suppose… The highlight this weekend is really Metro Cinema. A special presentation tonight, All-You-Can-Eat Cereal & Cartoons tomorrow morning and a Monty Python Quote-A-Long tomorrow night. I should just move in….
One of Edmonton’s best kept nerdy secrets, Naked Cyber Café is also hosting an Animation class with a pretty well-known artist tomorrow. You should at least check the place out (highly recommend it!), it’s Edmonton’s longest-operating Cyber Café.
One other reminder, you’ve got one week left to say goodbye to Quantum Comics as they get ready to move to Camrose…. Maybe stop in and play HeroClix with them one more time?
