Blade Runner is a future-noir set in a bleak Los Angeles where only the unfortunate still reside, one of whom is Deckard, a detective who specializes in tracking down “Replicants”, near perfect humanoid robots, when they break from their programming. Ridley Scott’s Final Cut is the only version over which he had complete artistic control, and the result is an immersive experience that is at once bleaker and more wonderful in the truest sense.
