Panels, Concerts, Autographs and Animé! A Taste of Animethon has a schedule more packed than anything other nerdy events in Edmonton outside of the Expo (or the summer Animethon event…).
I made the mistake of not checking out the schedule for a while and it’s a bit more involved than I remember. There’s Video Gaming, Improv, RPGs, Maid/Butler Cafés, LARP, Animé and even “Overwatch Family Feud.”
Do you like Cosplay? There’s a Cosplay Contest, Cosplay Chess, Cosplay panels and even a Cosplay Battle on Friday night.
I’m going to have to sit down and figure out what a lot of these panels are all about too.
The event kicks off one week from tonight with a full Friday night lineup of events and a concert by local Video Game Musicians Hey Listen!
It runs all day Saturday and concludes with a huge dance and a concert by Aimee Blackschleger.
