Science in the Cinema Presents: Memento – Nov. 17

As much as there’s been a lot in 2016 we’d like to forget about, there’s a danger in not being able to remember things. Memento was a movie that showed an extreme example of that. On November 17, Science in the Cinema will help you see the science behind this movie too. Only at Metro Cinema!

A man is determined to find justice after the loss of a loved one, even though he is incapable of fully remembering the crime.

After the film there will be a Q & A with a health researcher from the University of Alberta who can answer your questions about amnesia.

This film is rated 14A.

Science in the Cinema is sponsored by the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry and the Arts & Humanities in Health & Medicine Program at the University of Alberta.
