Wow… first there was a post about nerdy makeup and now gardening? I never seem to know what’ll be next.
Anyway, Salisbury Greenhouse runs a series of unusual gardening workshops and this time it’s miniature hobbit gardens on September 24th. I missed out on their Star Wars one back in March… still a bit disappointed.
Here’s the eventbrite link for more details.
It’s gardening for geeks! We’ll show you how to create your own personalized “Bag-End” for the living room. We have all you need, including hobbit-sized plants, and a variety of decorations.
You are welcome to bring a container and/or accessories from home, or we have them for purchase. Be creative! We encourage you to bring waterproof toys or figures to use in your gardens.
Cost of instruction is free; you pay only for the materials you choose to use. Plants specific to each project are available for purchase. Plants should not be brought from outside the greenhouse.
There is a $10 deposit because space is limited; it will be taken off your purchase.
