RunGunJumpGun released on Steam yesterday for Mac & PC and I just didn’t get home fast enough to post about it (because I apparently like posting at 4am soooo much more…). Anyway, ThirtyThree Games is a local developer that’s been hard at work on this since 2014 and you can help get the word out about them too (or even buy and play their awesome game!).


RunGunJumpGun is a tough as nails indie video game that puts a teeth-rattling, gravity-defying weapon in your hands. You’ll use one button to shoot forward, clearing a path, and the other to blast at the ground, propelling yourself into the air so you can helicopter through snaking hallways of spikes, turrets, and saws. Two-buttons worth of terror in one very big, very loud gun.


With a cast of crazed characters, simple but stupid-hard gameplay, and pulsing musical score, RunGunJumpGun is a loud, trippy mess of twitchy platforming goodness. RunGunJumpGunfeatures warped psychedelic visuals and sweltering beats designed to drive you through this hyperkinetic world. A brutal world bristling with death. It’s not for babies.


ThirtyThree Games is a tight-knit three-person game studio in Canada. Our first big title, RunGunJumpGun, began as a parting gift to an old workplace we thought would be done in a week. A year and a half of work and a federally incorporated company later, and we’ve rethought some things. The three members split art, code, and sound three ways.
