So the Expo is coming up and Just Be Cos has their workshops in full swing. I knew about this the other day but it filled up before I could even post about it… So why am I mentioning it again? If enough people express interest, maybe they’ll convince Kilo-One-Four Cosplay to hold another one?

“CON-structuring class- Creating Props Step 1
Date Sunday August 28th 1:00pm-3:30pm
Cost $50
Supplies required: Heat Gun, scissors, utility knife (with breakaway blades), heat gloves (optional)
Are you ready to take your cosplay to the next level? Do you need a prop to complete the look? Not sure where to start? Then this is the class for you!
This two and a half hour workshop is a great starting point and will cover the basics of prop building. You will learn how to work with various materials that combined will make truly believable or unbelievable props. Learn techniques and tricks and best of all leave the workshop with a prop that you built!
Class is hosted by Kilo Kuzyk aka Kilo-One-Four Cosplay -truly a master at prop building
Registration fee includes all supplies needed to create a knife and scabbard/sheath, use of equipment and supplies. It also includes 10% off any purchase in store that day. If you own a heat gun and utility knife please bring them. If not we have a couple to share.
Please note the prop will remain unpainted as prop painting, and leather effects painting for the scabbard/sheath will be covered in Props Step 2
