Feather Fall Fundraiser-July 27

We’ve been talking about the Fringe over the last few days and I think it’s good for people to know that the shows being put on don’t always come cheap for those involved. Thankfully there’s a way you can help support at least one of them. Featherfall is being put on by some recognizable faces at Campfire Tales like Rico The Bard and The Geekery and they’re hosting a fundraiser full of Comedy, Music and Empanadas!

Read the write-up below and check the Facebook event page here.

“It’s happening again!

Campfire Tales presents the second edition of our hugely successful fundraiser variety series, featuring of course, HOME MADE EMPANADAS!!!

We’re raising money for the elaborate period costumes, props and set pieces that will make our weird fantasy/action-adventure play Feather Fall, which is about Angels and Demons and The War of 1812, a cut above the rest. We’ve been working tirelessly on this thing, and your support means the world to us. Come laugh, listen to some tunes, have some brews and CHOW DOWN on EMPANADAS!!!

We’ve also got a wicked-cool silent auction with merch from our lovely nerdfriends at Happy Harbour Comics and Hexagon. Come getcha some swag while supporting local theatre!

This time around, we’ve got:
COMEDY from
Simon Glassman
Stefan Makowski
Tamara Appleton
Adam Dyck

and MUSIC from
Rico the Bard
The Planograms

Hosted by Pete Morley
$10 admission
$2 HOME MADE EMPANADAS
7:30pm
Bohemia”
