We’d wouldn’t be able to call ourselves gamers if we didn’t at least mention Pokemon GO. Niantic’s foray into mobile gaming hit huge in Edmonton (and around the world) in the last few days. This is the first time I’ve refreshed a search and seen multiple new groups pop up on Facebook in real time. Here are the local groups just on Facebook (as of this morning). I’m going to leave it at the Facebook Groups but there’s also sub-reddits, a Google Plus group, a Meetup group and who knows what else will be popping up in the next little while.
