The Nerd community in Edmonton has really stepped up to help out Fort McMurray residents. Every day I see a new event, tournament or fundraiser in support of fellow Albertans. The latest is We Have Issues‘ Colouring Contest!
“With a (minimum) $5 donation you can pick up a copy of this Spectacular Spider-Man page. All funds raised will be going to help with fire relief in Ft Mac!
Take the page home and colour / decorate it however you like. Crayons, pens, bedazzle, pencils, water colours… whatever you like. And you don’t even need to stay in the lines.
Art work will then be displayed on our website and a panel of industry judges will select a winner from all submissions. The winner will be awarded the original Spectacular Spider-man page from issue #48, page 23 (1980).”
